The Pastor and membership are reformed and have been so since the 1970's. We adopt to the fullest expression of faith, The London Confession of Faith of 1689. To review this Confession please link to;  http://www.vor.org/truth/1689/1689bc00.html

We also affirm the 2000 Baptist Faith and Message of the SBC.

We believe the expository preaching of God's Word to be vital to the Church and all Christians. We have strong convictions of proclaiming the gospel and therefore a strong emphasis in evangelism toward a lost and dying world.

Romans 10:9: If you declare with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.  For a person believes with his heart and is justified, and a person declares with his mouth and is saved.  For the Scripture says, "Everyone who believes in him will not be ashamed."  For there is no difference between Jew and Greek, because they all have the same Lord, who gives richly to all who call on him.  For "everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."  How, then, can people call on someone they have not believed?  And how can they believe in someone they have not heard about? And how can they hear without someone preaching?   And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring the good news!"  But not everyone has obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah asks, "Lord, who has believed our message?"  Consequently, faith comes from listening, and listening comes through the word of Christ.

The Bible alone is the word of God. In order to learn the mind of the Lord we must use our own mind. That means, exercising the little grey cells God has given to us. Therefore, we do ask you to bring your Bibles and your brains for the instruction of God's word.
