Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go, Even when he is old he will not depart from it

A note for parents.

Let me be a straight shooter with many of you parents out there.  Many of you, for a variety of reasons, do not attend church at this time.   Why?  Well, some parents simply have no interest in the things of God. Or, some do have an interest, but by Sunday you are flat out pooped from your work week and you just want to sleep in.  Or, maybe Sunday is a difficult day because of other reasons known only to you.

Thinking back, many of us, when we were growing up, had parents who would not step foot in a church.  Yet, for some strange reason many of our parents wanted to get us into a church to learn about the Lord.  So, they dropped us off at church and a few hours later they picked us up.  Many parents are Christians today because this happened to them.

No matter what your reason is, Kids Club provides an opportunity for kids to learn the Bible on their own level.  Every Monday we provide an evening for children from the ages of 3 up to 18 years of age, where they can learn the word of God.  Maybe you are a parent who falls under one of the above reasons for not attending Sunday worship.  Let's fix that.  Maybe Monday is a good time and does fit into your schedule.  Of course, we want to have parents bring their children to the Kids Club and get involved.  Not just drop them off and pick them up an hour later.   We want you to watch them grow spiritually and be actively involved in their spiritual growth.  What parent would not want their child to learn to "honor their Father and Mother? "

Please consider this opportunity to get your child involved in the things of God.  The Bible is not just a rule book that tells us what we can and cannot do.  The Bible addresses and also answers four crucial issues regarding our lives.  That is; where we came from, why we are here, what our purpose is and where we are going.   The Bible teaches us how to think God's thoughts after Him.  I encourage parents to seriously consider Kids Club.
